    Xhoo Community Development

Mmila Mela has been engaging with the Xhoo community since 2021 to assist them with their community development goals. Once officially registered as a non-profit, we received funding from a private donor in July 2022 for our Xhoo community development project.

With this we managed to provide a number of basic needs. We have recently been granted additional funding to further develop this project, focusing on women's empowerment, income generating opportunities, and facilitating a community owned tourism product.

    Lesedi Medical Fund

Many people in rural communities suffer from preventable and treatable illnesses. Through regular outreach clinics, we will improve access to quality healthcare providers and medicine. We have partnered with a local hospital and multiple clinics who have offered services at a discounted rate.
